This is to present in brief the organisations/institutions that contributed to the Conference budget along with other contributions to the Conference and eventually made the event possible:

 
SPARK - formerly ATA
SPARK is an independent non-profit institution founded in 1994. It builds the capacity of local economic and educational institutions in post-conflict regions. The organisation actively mobilises support for this within Dutch Society, especially with economic and educational institutions and has field offices in Belgrade, Mitrovica, Pristina and Skopje along with SPARK-supported Business Start-up Centres in Bar, Bitola, Kragujevac, Pristina and Zenica. It has the annual budget of over 2.5 million Euro and over 40 staff employs.

ERI SEE - Agency for Education Reform Initiatives of South East Europe

The Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE) is a regional platform for cooperation in the field of education and training established in 2004 under the scheme of the Task Force Education and Youth (TFEY) of the Stability Pact The Agency and launched in 2006. It is located in Zagreb and supports national reforms in education and training through regional capacity building, transfer of know-how and linking these efforts to European frameworks for education development (the EU Work Programme ‘Education and Training 2010’, the Bologna and the Copenhagen Processes). Promoting cooperation between the education and research sectors in South Eastern Europe (SEE) is a priority as well. ERI SEE also addresses more global developments in education and training (the World Declaration on Education for All and the Dakar Framework for Action, as well as the education objectives of the Millennium Development Goals).

RCC - Regional Cooperation Council

The Regional Cooperation Council is an intergovernmental organisation aiming to promote mutual cooperation and European and Euro-Atlantic integration of South East Europe in order to inspire development in the region to the benefit of its people.The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) was officially launched on 27 February 2008, as the successor of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. It is turned to developmental projects and creation of a political climate susceptible to implementing projects of a wider, regional character, to the benefit of each individual country. The RCC also provides political guidance to and receives substantive input from relevant regional task forces and initiatives active in specific thematic areas of regional cooperation.The annual budget of the RCC Secretariat is set at 3 million euro, 1/3 being the contribution by the region, 1/3 by the European Commission and the remaining 1/3 by other RCC members and international partners. The RCC Secretariat is based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It employs 32 officials, 25 in the Sarajevo headquarters and seven in the Brussels Liaison Office.

EAIE - European Association for International Education

The EAIE is a non-profit organisation whose main aim is the stimulation and facilitation of the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and around the world, and to meet the professional needs of individuals active in international education. It is a member-led organisation made up of individual members. It has a committed membership of more than 1800 international education professionals - from rectors to professors to international exchange coordinators.

CoE- Council of Europe

The Council of Europe is an intergovernmental organisation aiming to promote and develop throughout Europe common and democratic principles based on the European Convention on Human Rights and other reference texts on the protection of individuals. It is based in Strasbourg (France), covers virtually the entire European continent, with its 47 member countries. Founded on 5 May 1949 by 10 countries.
